This is the place where you can personalize your profile!
But, how?
By moving, adding and personalizing widgets.
You can drag and drop to rearrange.
You can edit widgets to customize them.
The left side has widgets you can add!
Some widgets you can only access when you get a premium membership.
Some widgets have options that are only available when you get a premium membership.
We've split the page into zones!
Certain widgets can only be added to certain zones.
"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!
Now go forth and astound us all with your devious profiles!
I'll admit it without hesitation and revel in it. Hi, my name is Chuck, and I'm a tracer. I don't dress it up by calling it inking, because my goal is to bring the original artist's pencils to the page exactly as they are. If I see a mistake, then yeah, I'll fix it. But as for adding line quality, changing light sources, etc I won't do it. The way I see it, the artist drew the picture the way they wanted it to be done. I am there to solidify it. I would like to do this professionally, but right now I am practicing with images that I find online at comic resource sites and the like. However, if you have something that you might like inked, drop me a line and maybe we can work something out. I try to work artists from all over the board in regards to style, but have found it hard to pull myself away from some of my favorites such as Lee, Bagley, Benes, Rio, Mad, Campbell. Let me know what you think, or feel free to just drop your name if you want me to come over and check out what you've got. I'm always up for giving a free crit or some advice.
Tho i read the description of what you do, inkers are artists in their own right, you shouldnt approach a page as it being the pencillers, it's all a team effort to make the best possible page.
One thing i notice about your inkwork is almost no line variation, this is important when seperating objects in the background, midground and foreground.
Hey cool gallery. I was browsing and saw your mary jane and thought it was mine then when i looked closer realized it wasn't i had to check out your gallery. I like your selection of pencils to ink. I've done a few of the same. Just picked the brush back up after about 28 years, wow now that makes me feel old. On your MGS2 why didn't you put the small white halo around the chick?
I didn't either it just didn't have the right feel. Would love to have you check out some of my ink and crit. Don't know where I am going with it all but it is very relaxing and a great escape from the business of a work day. Keep up the work and good luck.
